Dream Team is back, free, and there’s £100,000 up for grabs!

But last week Stelling hinted he was set to return to TV after telling fans he would be “back behind a mahogany desk”.

However, it turns out he is going to front the new season of CLUB, a free-to-play mobile game that allows you to create your own club.

Players will have to make big decisions like balancing the finances, choosing which players to sign and which manager to hire.

Stelling will host its new format and has challenge fans to step forward if they think they could do a better job of running a club than their current owners.

He will be seen presenting a new ‘TV show’ in the game.

Stelling said: “We’re yet to see how the 2026/27 season plays out, but pre-season hasn’t disappointed – big transfers, new managers, and boardroom drama!

“The question is, could you do a better job of running a football club? That’s what we’re putting to the test with Club Game, where fans can prove if they can run a club better!!”

The game has been created by Formation Games – which was co-founded by ex-FA chief Alex Horne.

Formation Games claim it has 750,000 players after going viral during the World Cup and rising to No 1 in the app store at one point.

Founder Tom Russell added: “The most interesting shift in football isn’t happening on the pitch, it’s in the boardroom.

“Every fan has a view on the wage structure, transfer strategy, stadium plans and the staff hires. CLUB is developed as a place fans can prove they could do it better.”
