THE Spice Girls have sent fans into a spin as they teased a huge reunion with a cryptic announcement post.
Taking to Instagram, the pop group shared a short video riddled with clues and fans can’t believe it.

The Spice girls‘ – Victoria, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri Halliwell – last full five-member reunion was back in August 2012 when they performed at the Olympic closing ceremony.
They’ve remained good pals over the years, as they focused on their own solo projects from Victoria Beckham‘s fashion line to Melanie C’s DJ career.

Now, it seems something big is coming after months of rumours.
In the video, a newspaper could be seen strewn across a staircase. The camera gets closer and the page is filled with cryptic hints.

The publication name stamped at the top reads: “The Stage and Television Today.”
While the title is now redundant, back in the day the entertainment newspaper covered West End shows, theatre productions, touring companies, TV casting news and reviews.
The clip then flashes to a page in the paper, which says: “R U a Spice Girls fan with the ability to sing and dance?

“Spice Girls are a widely successful, global, choreographed, singing/dancing all female pop act with a record nine number ones in the UK & over 100 million global sales.”
The article continues: “Thursday 10th September at 2 o’clock BST. No sheet music required but you will need a vinyl or a CD player.”
They captioned the cryptic post: “10.09.2026 | 2pm BST”
Fans in the comments were unsure if it meant the girls were finally reuniting or if they were rereleasing one of their hit songs for their 30th anniversary.
Perhaps another hint, the Spice girls 1996 number one, Wannabe, played in the background of the post.
One fan penned: “It means any day now we’ll be on ticket master at three in the morning waiting in the queue for tickets. WE CAN ONLY HOPE!”
“Read the paper, it’s a 30th anniversary re-release for sure,” wrote another fan.
Speaking to Betway about a potential reunion, Chris Herbert, the Spice Girls’ former manager, said: “Personally, I’d only want to see it if all five of them were on stage together. I wouldn’t want to see four of them or three of them; their legacy deserves all five members.
“Looking at what Victoria has achieved, though, she’s done something remarkable. She’s managed to establish herself in the fashion industry, which is notoriously difficult.
“People don’t usually take pop stars seriously when they move into luxury fashion, but she’s proved everyone wrong. I honestly don’t know why she’d want to put that at risk for a reunion.
“As much as I’d love to see all five of them together again, I struggle to see it happening. I’d be delighted to be proved wrong, but I just can’t see it.”
Chris added: “They’re all incredibly busy. They’re not sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.
“Just organising a meeting between five people with careers and families is a challenge, never mind planning a world tour.
“People talk about the 30th anniversary as though these things happen overnight, but they don’t. A reunion like that requires years of planning.”
