The 21-year-old punching prodigy will become one of the hottest talents in world sport if he beats 34-year-old Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF belt on Saturday night.

The freakishly mature fighter said: “When I win the world title, the grind won’t stop.
“When you go for a run you don’t enjoy it but afterwards you get a natural high, you get a buzz and you feel good. That’s what a fight week is like.

“But next week when I am sitting down, as a world champion, with a cup of tea in my hand, I might feel like I enjoyed it.”
Winning a world title in just his 15th fight will make Itauma the second youngest heavyweight ruler in history, only Mike Tyson will have done it earlier.
Victory would catapult him into serious talks about grabbing fighters with household names like Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, before they sail off into retirement.
Itauma didn’t win an Olympic gold on the BBC at the London Olympics – nor is he a 6ft 9in Traveller showman who sings, sells books and stars in reality TV shows on the side.
