THOMAS TUCHEL snapped at Fifa after photographers ruined his “very, very special moment” when God Save The King was played before England’s win over Croatia.

Three Lions boss Tuchel was annoyed that the World Cup organisers had put camera people in front of the technical area at Dallas Stadium when his squad were singing the national anthem.

The German has declared that he will only sing our anthem if we reach the final next month but was looking forward to watching his stars in Fifa’s updated, pre-match ceremony.

Tuchel, 52, moaned: “I have to tell you something.

“I’m begging Fifa to change the position of the photographers in the national anthem, because I could not see my team.

“And I was waiting for this moment.

“It was a very, very special moment today, and I was standing in front of a wall of 50 photographers, half a metre away.

“And I could not see one single player, and it ruined my experience a little bit.”

Under new Fifa protocol, teams’ whole squads stand around the centre circle for national anthems.

But the army of snappers blocked the view for both managers inside the home of the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.

Ex-Chelsea gaffer Tuchel has claimed he must “earn” the right to sing ‘God Save The King’, though he insists he does know the words.

Ahead of England’s curtain-raiser against Croatia, Tuchel was asked if he would sign the anthem.

He replied: “Not yet, I think we are not there yet. At the very end maybe. I am still a bit shy.

“I don’t want to offend people and I don’t want to have the focus on that now.”

His England side were on song in their opening game of the tournament, seeing off Croatia 4-2 thanks to Harry Kane’s double plus goals from Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford.
