JAMES Haskell was told off during last night’s Celebs Go Dating as his date was convinced he was “judging” her.

After enjoying a date with brunette beauty Kitten, the rugby ace decided not to see her a second time – and she was convinced she knew the bizarre reason why.

His date Kitten was convinced that James was holding the fact she doesn’t have a driving license against her Credit: E4

Kitten had told James during their date that she doesn’t have a driving license, something she claimed he held against her and was the reason sparks didn’t fly.

During the date, James asked: “Are you a good driver?”

She replied: “I don’t drive, I had driving lessons for two years and I just couldn’t do it.

“They said the only person worse than me couldn’t speak English”.

During their date a few days prior, Kitten told James she had been trying to learn how to drive for two years but just couldn’t do it

He then decided to take new girl Scarlett on a date rather than seeing Kitten again, but assured it was nothing to do with their driving abilities

When James saw Kitten again at the show’s mixer, he decided to ask another woman, Scarlett, to date him and not pursue things with Kitten.

This left Kitten upset, as she admitted: “I feel quite deflated, during my date I really opened up and told you a lot about myself and I feel like I didn’t really get it back.

“Something that I wouldn’t normally speak publicly about is the fact that I don’t drive and I wouldn’t usually talk about that on a first date either.

“I feel like you ruled me out because I didn’t have a license.”

Assuring that her driving ability, or lack there of, had nothing to do with his decision, James replied: “I had completely forgotten that was one of the things

” I certainly would never have chosen someone whether they can drive or not.”

Doubling down, Kitten hit back: “As a woman I have so much to give and unless I was relying on you for lifts everywhere.

“I don’t think it should be a reflection of what I can give in a relationship, as a woman or as a lover.”

Defusing the situation, James, who was previously with Chloe Madeley, explained: “I enjoyed talking to you but I’m just not sure there was that spark there”.

The experts then commended him on handling the situation well, but James couldn’t help but make a joke out of the situation.

Turning to the rest of the girls at the mixer, he quipped: “Just make sure you’ve all got your licenses, otherwise!”
