Comedian, Paddy Young took to Instagram to share a series of snaps and captioned the images: “Cut my finger with a samurai sword!
“Thank you Bebe Ed Horatio for breastfeeding me back to good health
“Thank you Sam for bringing the sword to my home and running away when I fainted
“Fringe run 90% sold out. Tendon 90% lacerated. Aura 100% lost. Tour selling fast – see u there.”

In one of the images Paddy is seen lying on a hospital bed with his hand bandaged.
Paddy’s followers flocked to comment and one wrote: “You can use this to advertise sharp comedy with a cutting wit.”
Another added: “Sam told me he thought the sword wouldn’t have cut you if you were honorable.”
A third said: “Tut tut. Boys and their Samurai Swords!”
A fourth wrote: “Omg National Treasures should be protected at all costs x.”
While a fifth wrote: “That is the straightest injury I can think of.”
Over in America many of the SNL cast members have become huge stars like Colin Jost, who is married to Hollywood megastar Scarlett Johansson.
It also has a history of providing launchpads for everyone from Eddie Murphy to Tina Fey and Bill Murray.
The new faces on the British version also include Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, and Emma Sidi.
And a trio of movie stars hosted the first three episodes of Saturday Night Live UK which premiered in March and it has already landed a second series.
