WILL Mellor has hit back after receiving cruel comments from a racist troll online.
The soap star, 50, was branded an “absolute traitor” by a user for starring in an advert with his own wife and their mixed-race children.

The nasty user wrote to X: “I’ve just seen your holiday advert. You absolute TRAITOR!”
“Why am I a traitor?!?!” responded Will, who stars in an advert for holiday company Solmar Villas with his wife and two children.
They replied: “I’ll give you a clue. OK. Will. British TV likes to give out the idea that mixed relationships are the norm. They’re not. They exist of course yes but the norm though? No.
“You fell into it though. Personally, I would have refused to help… (sic)”

A furious Will replied: “It’s my f***in wife and children in the Advert!!!?!?? What are you talking about!???”
The user then deleted their original tweets.
Will also took to Instagram to discuss the exchange, writing: “I try not to respond to a lot of this I get on social media but is this just 1 of many messages I get!
“How sad is it that we are in 2026 and we are still having to deal with this S**T!!!”
Showing support for Will in the comment section of his post, the actor’s Strictly Come Dancing co-star Fleur East wrote: “So stupid!!! And outrageous!! It’s mad that this still goes on. When will it end?”
While a number of fans were also outraged as they left comments.
Will has been married to Michelle McSween for almost two decades, with the couple meeting back in 1999 and tying the knot eight years later.
The couple share daughter Renee, 17, and son Jayden, 21.
