KILLJOY theatre bosses have produced a six-page woke guide for a new stage version of the hit film Thelma & Louise – including warnings about scenes involving death.

And they said the play contains descriptions ot the cast downing booze.

The 1991 Oscar-winning film stars Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.

The story follows two friends whose weekend getaway turns them into fugitives after one shoots a man who tries to rape the other in a bar car park.

While fleeing towards Mexico across the American Southwest, they are trapped by a police blockade at the edge of the Grand Canyon and choose to preserve their freedom by driving their convertible over the cliff together.
