A YOUNG woman was allegedly raped in a city centre alleyway as cops launch an investigation.
Cops were scrambled to Lace Market Square in Nottingham in the early hours of Saturday morning to reports a woman had been raped.

Nottinghamshire Police has cordoned off the area around Adams Walk after they were called to the scene at 2.46am.
The force said the woman is being supported by officers following the incident.
A spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.46am on Saturday to the Adams Walk area of Nottingham city centre after reports that a young woman had been raped.
“She is being supported by officers and investigations are ongoing.”
Anyone with information has been urged to come forward to the police.
