ONE person has died after a train collided with a lorry at a level crossing in Poland.
Emergency services were called to the incident in the Obornicki district.

The passenger train derailed after smashing into the truck, which burst into flames.
Dozens of passengers sustained injuries varying in severity, with one rushed to hospital for treatment.
A total of 11 units of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Departments from surrounding towns were dispatched to the rescue operation.
Three air ambulance helicopters and five ambulances are reported to have arrived at the scene of the harrowing collision.

Eyewitnesses report that the truck driver stopped at the crossing before driving straight into the side of the moving Koleje Wielkopolskie train.
One person has died following the railway disaster.
The cause of the incident will be investigated by the State Commission for the Investigation of Railway Accidents.
