Close on the heels of the Cockroach Janta Party-led student protests that culminated in the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as education minister, the RSS has set up a coordination meeting with all its affiliates, including the BJP.The Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak (All India Coordination Meeting) of various organisations inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be held this year at Gudilova, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, from August 19 to 21.The annual meeting is being viewed as significant in the wake of the recent setbacks the BJP has suffered in Bihar’s Bankipur and Madhya Pradesh’s Datia and also the prevailing political situation in the country, including the challenge of adverse narratives following student protests over the NEET UG paper leak.A total of 32 organisations inspired by the Sangh will participate in the meeting. The principal office-bearers of these organisations, including their Akhil Bharatiya presidents, general secretaries, sangathan mantris and some select office-bearers will be present.The BJP will be represented by party president Nitin Nabin and general secretary organisation BL Santosh.
