BARCELONA have confirmed they will leave the Nou Camp after just one full season.
The LaLiga giants will temporarily return to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys as the Nou Camp’s renovations remain incomplete.

Club treasurer Ferran Olive, 68, explained at Saturday’s General Assembly that the club will relocate between June 2027 and January 2028 while the roof structure is installed.
It has been noted that Barcelona expects the new roof to be installed as early as November, via Barca Universal.

But the club is allowing two extra months to accommodate any delays or budget restrictions.
These £1.3billion renovations are set to be finally completed during the 2028/29 season.

Barcelona were based at Montjuic between 2023 and 2025 as work began at the Nou Camp.
The club then opted to return to their traditional home full-time ahead of the 2026-27 season, facing Athletic Bilbao in their first home game of the campaign.
Work has continued at the stadium, with the venue set to reach a 75,000 capacity by the end of the current season.
However, Barcelona have faced several issues with their return, including a leaky roof drenching reporters during rain showers earlier this month.

It comes after the club reportedly ran out of money during the facelift, as the completion date continues to be pushed back.
Barcelona are expected to make their return to the Camp Nou for the second half of the 2027/28 season, with a capacity of 95,000.
The final stage of the stadium’s redevelopment will then see the venue reach an incredible 105,000 capacity.
This will comfortably make the Camp Nou Europe’s largest stadium, with 15,000 more seats than the second-ranked Wembley.
Barcelona’s Nou Camp is set to host the 2029 Champions League Final, following the completion of the stadium renovations.
It will be just the third time the venue will have hosted the occasion, with previous Champions League finals taking place at the Nou Camp in 1989 and 1999.
