A BRITISH couple have been arrested for an alleged “dine and dash” while on holiday in Spain.
The man, 36, and woman, 31, were accused of assaulting police during the pair’s chaotic arrest in Magaluf.
The couple allegedly banged their heads on the car and violently resisted cops while they were being restrained.
Mallorca police were called out to the restaurant after receiving reports of an altercation.

The owners alleged that a couple had left without paying the bill because they claimed one of the dishes had been unnaceptable.
They ordered both food and had drinks in the restaurant.

Police searched the nearby area before finding the couple wading in the sea.
They were asked to get out of the water but refused to do so before shouting insults and threats at the officers and their families.
Local cops finally managed to get them to leave and were escorting them to the restaurant before they suddenly became violent.
The man allegedly hit one of the officers and both the man and woman put up a strong resistance.
They were cuffed and taken to the police station.
On the way, they banged their heads on the inside glass of the car.
Authorities said agents had to use “the minimum necessary force and in a proportional manner to control the two involved and avoid further aggression”.
The pair were finally transferred to official offices of the Civil Guard, where they “continued with a defiant attitude and reiterated their threats”.
The man and woman, both British nationals, face charges of fraud, serious disobedience, threats and assault against law enforcement officials.
They were taken into custody at a police station waiting to be brought to justice. Penalties could include a custodial sentence.
