Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora on Saturday said the state government had provided youngsters with government jobs “without any bribe” and solely on the basis of merit.He said the government’s policy was based on the principle of “no cash, no favour”, providing the youth with opportunities to move ahead on the strength of their hard work and merit. He said this after handing over cheques amounting to Rs 2.60 crore to gram panchayats for 59 development works in 40 villages of the Jattvibeam Assembly segment.Arora told mediapersons at Longolwal that the government was continuously working towards the overall development of villages. Arora said the primary aim of the state government was to ensure balanced development of villages and cities.
