MASON GREENWOOD and Matteo Guendouzi have both been hit by bans and fines from Uefa.
It comes after the Fenerbahce pair were involved in a heated exchange and then brawl on the pitch following the club’s 3-2 aggregate win over Lyon in the Champions League play-offs last month.

The duo both played for Lyon’s rivals Marseille in Ligue 1, but ex-Arsenal star Guendouzi was seen sticking his finger up and shouting “Allez l’OM” (“Go Marseille”) towards Lyon fans.
That saw the midfielder confronted by a man in Lyon colours as a mass brawl, which involved ex-Manchester United star Greenwood, erupted on the pitch.

This was followed by a brawl between both sides in the tunnel.
A Uefa investigation into the incident has now seen fit to slap the pair with punishment.

Greenwood and Guendouzi under Uefa investigation over ‘offensive gestures’
Guendouzi, 27, was punished for “insulting others present at the match, provoking spectators and for violating the basic rules of decent conduct”.
He has been slapped with a four-game ban in Europe, two of which are suspended “subject to a probationary period of one year”, and a fine of £43,000 (€50,000).
Meanwhile, Greenwood, 24, was given a one-match suspended ban over the same length of time as his team-mate and fined £26,000 (€30,000).
Speaking after the game, in which he was repeatedly booed by Lyon fans, Guendouzi said he felt “disrespected” by fans who were taunting him with “insults” about his family.

He added: “If we can’t celebrate the way we want afterward, I find that disappointing.
“When you have 60,000 people insulting your family, your mother, your children, even before the game and no-one on the referee’s side tells the crowd to be quiet.
“I know that in France, when this kind of thing happens, there comes a point where they’ll talk to the fans to stop and maybe stop the match.”
Fenerbahce will face Aston Villa away and Liverpool at home in their Champions League league phase draw.
They were also drawn against Atletico Madrid in arguably their toughest ties of the league phase, and start their campaign against Roma next Thursday.
