UFC star Ilia Topuria looked completely unrecognisable after he was left battered and bruised in his shock KO defeat to Justin Gaethje.

Topuria was defending his lightweight title against the American at the White House and looked like he might stop his rival in the second round.

But Gaethje eventually recovered before dishing out some serious punishment on Topuria.

The pair delivered a thrilling fight but Topuria took too much damage and couldn’t get off his stool at the end of the fourth.

Topuria’s face looked disfigured towards the end of the bout with his eyes swollen and his face bruised all over.
