Therefore, Sainsbury’s locations in Scotland will be operating by their regular trading hours.

But this isn’t the case in England and Wales, as the majority of larger stores are set to be open from 7am-8pm, closing two to three hours earlier than usual.

And although that leaves customers with plenty of time to head in, browse the aisles and get exactly what they need.

For those that can’t make it before the earlier-than-usual 8pm close, there is a solution as smaller convenience stores will be open from 7am to 11pm.

How can I check my local Sainsbury’s opening hours?

Despite there being a general idea of when Sainsbury’s branches will be open on Monday, they do tend to vary based on the location and size of the store.

To avoid disappointment, it’s recommended you check the specific trading hours of the location closest to you.

This can be easily done by using the Sainsbury’s store locator which will tell you exactly when your nearest branch is open.

Each store’s bank holiday hours can be found listed below its address.
