The players, staff and Tartan Army made their feelings known after the Napoli superstar went down in the box.
It was the key talking point post-match in the studio as the question was put to Roy Keane, Ange Postecoglou and Duncan Ferguson.
The pundits were SPLIT with two of the them insisting the referee got the decision CORRECT.
Keane was first up and said: “I don’t think it is a penalty. Simple as that.

“He is kind of looking to go down.”
Ferguson disagreed, telling the former Manchester United and Celtic man: “It was a penalty. There was a big touch and McTominay goes down, he’s running at speed and I think he can give that.
“I thought [John] McGinn’s was more of a penalty.”
Postecoglou was in the Keane camp as he chipped in stating: “The defender puts his leg out but I don’t think he gets enough of him for a penalty.

“He does get across him but not for a penalty. I think he was going down anyway, big Scott.
“He kind of falls across him, more than anything else.”
The referee analyst for the game, Christina, stated: “I still think it is a penalty kick.
“You don’t need a lot for this to be a penalty. We are not giving the penalty for the severity of the challenge. We are giving it more from the technical element side of it.
“It is a simple foul, there is contact at the knee portion and then one can argue there is a step a bit on the left boot.
“That for me is what I have seen given multiple times as a penalty decision on this.”
