SIR MICK JAGGER is swapping music scores for footie scores as he flies to Miami to watch England’s World Cup clash with Norway tomorrow night.

But first, the Rolling Stones rocker invited me and some of his celeb pals, including Vernon Kay, Claudia Winkleman and Oasis guitarist Andy Bell, to celebrate the release of the band’s new album Foreign Tongues.

The 14-track record, out today, is a work of genius.

Mick and Ronnie Wood played Ringing Hollow, one of my favourite tunes from the album, for the first time at the VIP bash at London’s St Clement Hotel.

Thank you!

I caught up with Mick ahead of their stirring performance and asked him about the Three Lions’ chances as they take on Norway’s star striker Erling Haaland.

“We’ve got players who know what he’s about,” Harlem Shuffle singer Mick said with a smile.

“But we’re England, I’ll never say we’re going all the way.”

Arsenal fanatic Mick is a big sports fan and made a surprise appearance on David Beckham’s show Beckham And Friends Live, where they watched the Gunners losing the Champions League final in May.

Revealing he felt obliged to cheer because the cameras were on, Mick said jokingly: “That was the most laddish behaviour I could muster.”

Back to the music, and Mick and Ronnie were on top form as they worked the room, with Mick joined by his son Lucas and daughter Elizabeth Jagger.

Keith Richards, who was unable to make the event, was given a shout out on stage by Mick, who also performed Dead Flowers and You Can’t Always Get What You Want.

Addressing his 100 or so guests, Mick said: “I spoke to Keith on the phone earlier and he sends his best to all of you.

“He is sad he can’t be here tonight, but he makes himself loud and clear on the new album, I can tell you that.”

Mick also gave a nod to their super-producer Andrew Watt, who helped the group to their 14th UK No1 album with Hackney Diamonds in 2023, telling him: “We couldn’t have done it without you.”

Before the night was out, Mick and Ronnie treated us to the most incredible drone show over the Thames — with whispers the band forked out almost £100,000 on the riverside spectacle.

It was most definitely a sight worthy of London’s New Year’s display.

And when Foreign Tongues lands in the No1 album spot next Friday, you can be sure that Mick and the band will be letting off the fireworks to celebrate.

Bra-vo for Lily

She was joined by former Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall, who won Best Female, Mel C, who bagged the Global Impact award, and Jessie J, who was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement in Music Award.

The London bash raised thousands for Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity.

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand were also in attendance, as was US superstar Pink, who won the main O2 Silver Clef Award.

She said: “I’ve always tried to use my voice, on and off stage, to advocate for the causes closest to my heart, and I’m proud to support an organisation that turns compassion into real action.

“This recognition means so much to me, not just as an artist, but as someone who believes deeply in the power of music to create change.”

HARRY STYLES has got what he says is his best award to date – a gold Blue Peter badge.

He was recognised for his record-breaking 12 gigs at Wembley Stadium.

Harry said: “I grew up watching Blue Peter and I never thought I would get one of these. This might be my proudest achievement.”

It’s Becky Fill

BECKY HILL hits the big time as she transforms herself with fake boobs and bum.

She looks unrecognisable in the get-up for her latest video – and takes a swipe at trolls who have criticised her looks down the years.

The outfit for the clip to accompany new song What Have I Got To Do? turns her into a real-life plastic doll with pretend fillers and implants.

Going all out for the visuals, the video comes ahead of her upcoming punk/dance album, Rebecca.

I told last month that she has written a diss track about Jack Whitehall for the album after a spat at the Brit Awards in 2025.

I can’t wait to hear the rest.

Mad for the Foos

IF Glastonbury was on this year, Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival could be rivalling it with this line-up . . .

The four-day extravaganza kicked off on Wednesday when Foo Fighters performed an epic two-and-a-half hour set, which they launched into with All My Life and The Pretender.

After those two songs alone, frontman Dave Grohl was soaked through.

A crew member sprayed him and the crowd with water to cool them in the 31C heat – at 10pm.

Liam Gallagher’s son Gene was watching after his band Villanelle played, cheering the Foos with a pint.

While the US rockers were entertaining on the main stage, Nineties dance great Moby was playing elsewhere to a packed crowd.

He told the audience: “On the other stage, Dave Grohl is playing, and in the late Eighties, Dave and I were both part of the East Coast, United States, hardcore punk scene.

“The last time our bands played together was in Washington, D.C. with Minor Threat, in I think 1986 or something. It’s so funny that here we are, playing together again, 40 years later. Dave was in a band called Scream and I was in Vatican Commandos.”

Lorde, Zara Larsson and Cmat all played last night, ahead of sets from Kings Of Leon, Nick Cave, Kasabian and Pulp in the next few days.

Our Howell has headed out to Madrid for Mad Cool, and I can’t blame him.

We’ve got good weather at home, but guaranteed Spanish sunshine means I’ll be considering it for my festival getaway next year.

FANS of US rapper Pitbull will have bald heads in tribute to his famous look when he plays British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park tonight.

Pitbull is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps, with supermarket giant Aldi helping him on his mission.

The supermarket will be there handing out free bald caps and aviator sunglasses ahead of his show.

TEDDY SWIMS returns with powerhouse ballad Break Up In Reverse.

Courteeners have dropped their new single, Plus One Forever, and Alabama Shakes have also released their comeback track, I Feel Hope.

It is taken from their first album in a decade, I Must Be Dreaming, which is due out on August 28.

The Specials lead the album releases with their final record Live From The Cathedral. It follows the death of singer Terry Hall in 2022.

The record was made from four home-coming shows in Coventry in 2019.

Elsewhere, Wendy Bevan has announced her first solo album in a decade.

Alone With The Unknown will be released on September 18.

Innocence, the first single from the record, is out today.
