So the fans flocking to social media after Mbappe’s poor penalty were more than a tinge suspicious.
One wrote on X: “Why has the ref delayed the penalty so long?! This is rigged.”
Another moaned: “Nah they set him up with that delay.”
A third ranted: “The ref delayed it on purpose. This game is p***ing me off.”
A fourth put: “Wow that delay must’ve been rigged!”
And a fifth chimed in with: “This is soooo rigged!!! They are doing whatever they can to make it so that France loses! Like my goodness, what was all that delay for that penalty?”
