Punjab Congress Chief Amrinder Raja Warring on Tuesday dared state BJP president Jattvibeil Jakhar to unleash central agencies like the ED and the CBI after him and other party leaders.The state Congress chief’s response came after Jakhar said be it Warring, former CM Charanjit Channi or other Congress leaders, all would face action for indulging in corruption.Reacting to it, Warring said, “What we have been saying has been vindicated by Jakhar that the target of the central agencies are leaders of all Opposition parties. He specifically named some of us in the Congress. We are ready and we won’t be scared.” Responding to Jakhar naming him, Warring said, “He (Jakhar) has something personal against me and he is free to go to any extent. But let me remind him that I don’t keep anybody’s debt for long, I return it fast with full interest.”He accused state’s ruling AAP of creating a situation where central agencies were “finding an excuse to intervene”. Referring to the CBI raid on the Vigilance Bureau office, he said everyone in Punjab, especially the Opposition, knew how the bureau was misused against them during the past four years.“The AAP government in Punjab remains the most corrupt, having crossed all limits,” he alleged.
