The team’s preparation for the World Cup has descended into chaos with a training camp already being cancelled.

Congo were due to play Chile in Spain next week in the city of La Linea de la Concepcion on June 9.

However, Mayor Juan Franco has signed a decree to cancel the fixture and stop it from going ahead.

The decision has been described as a “precautionary measure” and was made after recommendations from health specialists in the Andalusian region.
