A CHILD has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in a city centre.
Emergency services were called to Huddersfield Road in Manchester on Saturday following reports of a vehicle collision involving a child.

The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment of their serious injuries.
Greater Manchester Police were alerted to the incident at around 12.35pm on May 23.
At the scene of the horror crash in Oldham, a large police cordon was put in place.
The driver of the car remained at the scene to assist officers.

The force has said that it has not made any arrests yet and is continuing with its investigation into the matter.
The cordon stretching from Asda on Hudderfield Road to Cypress Road has since been lifted.
