A WOKE university is giving students the right to leave lectures if they feel triggered.
They can walk out without a reason, or penalty, if distressed by subjects they find challenging.

Bath Spa University’s bizarre inclusion policy means lecturers must tell students at the start of each academic year that they can leave a lecture — even if it harms exam chances.
The rules are outlined in a content-warning guide, drawn up by the 28,000-student uni’s wellness team.
Staff are expected to hand out trigger alerts in writing ahead of lessons containing references to mental illness, stalking, hateful language and kidnapping.
Bosses say the move gives students “agency to act in their own best interest”.

But Lord Toby Young, of the Free Speech Union, said: “Pandering to students’ imaginary mental health problems is not the way to turn them into resilient adults.”
A source joked: “This would be the perfect cover for hungover students to skip a 9am lecture.
“How are you meant to teach students if they can leave at any point when a discussion becomes challenging?”
In 2022 the university was criticised for telling students that verses by romantic poets contain “representations of sexual assault, violence, sexism and misogyny”.
The university was invited to comment.
