Days ahead of the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Beant Singh, slogans praising his assassin Dilawar Singh were found written on some buildings, including a government school in Bathinda district on Monday.Beant Singh was assassinated in a bomb blast on August 31, 1995.Meanwhile, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a video in connection with the incident.On receiving information about the slogans at Jai Singhwala and Naruana villages, cops visited the spot and got them removed. DSP HS Sra said a case was being registered under relevant sections against unidentified persons.He said the police were examining technical evidence and CCTV footage to identify those responsible and ascertain the motive behind the act.Notably, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to come to Bathinda on September 5.
