WETHERSPOONS is set to open 11 new pubs across the UK all before the start of the festive season.
Sites are expected to open in major transport hubs as well as a number of major cities.

Eleven locations across the country can expect to see new Wetherspoon sites pop up, including at Heathrow and Manchester Airport.
The pub chain, which operates more than 800 venues in the UK, announced the new locations would open before the Christmas period, although this could change.

JD Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin told the Morning Advertiser: “We are looking forward to opening a number of new pubs across England, Scotland and Spain.
“We look forward to opening more pubs throughout 2027 and beyond.”

The new transport locations include Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 and Manchester Airport Terminal 2, as well as venues in major cities including Edinburgh, Southampton and London.
The company has also expanded its partnership with leading UK universities, with new pubs opening in the University of Birmingham and the University of Surrey.

The Sir Frank Whittle, Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, already open
JDW has already announced a number of new sites this year, including openings in Cornwall, Blackpool and Bath.
The Sir Frank Whittle inside Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2 also marks the chain’s 10th airport pub.
Later this year, the brewing giant is also set to open its second ever international venue.
The site is set to come to Barcelona Airport in late November.
