FORMER Liverpool man Darwin Nunez has been tipped for a sensational return to the club.
The Uruguayan forward only left Anfield last summer, joining Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal on a deal worth around £46million.

But according to football journalist Juan Pablo Romero, he could be set to link back up with his former side on a free transfer.
The Uruguay-based reporter claimed that a deal for the forward is all lined up.
They added that confirmation about the move would not arrive during the World Cup, where Nunez is competing for his nation, to allow him to keep his full concentration on the tournament.
Nunez’s time in the middle east took a sour turn after just months at the club following the arrival of legendary France forward Karim Benzema.

He was not included in the side’s league squad to accommodate for the new arrival, leaving him eligible to play only in continental competition.
His limbo at the club means he may well be available on a cut-price deal, or even be willing to walk away from his big-money contract, but reports of a return to Liverpool specifically come as quite the surprise.
The 26-year-old had appeared to burn some bridges at the club before his eventual departure.
His inconsistent form left him the target of mixed feelings from the fanbase in the North East.

There were rumours of a tense relationship with now-sacked manager Arne Slot during their tenure together, with the boss having to shut down whispers of a training ground spat between the duo.
And he even appeared to lash out as his lack of playing time during his final months at the club, before deleting the offending social media post.
Slot has since departed the club, with Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola stepping in to replace the Dutchman.
Nunez has been linked to a number of Premier League sides given his experience in the division and his current club situation.
Both Newcastle and Chelsea have been named as potential suitors for the star if he is willing to give up on his £400,000-a-week wages.
But the links will still come as a shock U-turn so quickly after his acrimonious exit.
