The Ahmedabad City Cyber Crime Branch has arrested two men for allegedly running a Telegram-based scam promising aspirants access to the Re-NEET question paper, the police said on Saturday.The accused have been identified as Sumer Singh, a resident of Jaipur, and Akash, a resident of Kota.According to the police, the duo operated multiple Telegram channels and accounts to circulate misleading posts and advertisements, claiming to provide leaked Re-NEET question papers. The network was allegedly designed to lure students and parents preparing for the examination.Officials said the accused falsely promised access to confidential exam material and collected money under the pretext of providing question papers and related information.An official statement said, “Unknown persons were using Telegram to falsely claim access to the Re-NEET question paper and offering misleading assurances.
